Using Swift based TelemetryDeck to track visitors to this website

I’m exploring uses of the Swift language and as I was launching this new website I found TelemetryDeck from a post on the Swift.org website. Especially since it is cookieless tracking, I had to try it. The free plan offers 100,000 events a month, which should be enough for my personal website.

The service is targeted more at adding analytics to apps so I think that some of the reports I might be expecting are missing from the web mode of the analytics. For example the default referrer report shows my own domain name when I would expect only external referrals.

I appreciate that they are building towards supporting the Pirate funnel framework.

One reason I did this website redesign was to experiment with personal funnels and this should enable to set tracking funnels up.
